The Great Start Collaborative Program is made up of a dedicated team of professionals who work together to provide families and young children with the resources and support they need to succeed. The team consists of educators, health and wellness professionals, community outreach specialists, and administrative staff. Each member of the team brings their unique skills, expertise, and passion for supporting families and young children to the program. The team works closely with community partners to ensure that families have access to the resources and services they need, and they also provide training and support to parents, educators, and other stakeholders. The team is committed to creating strong, vibrant communities where every child has the best possible start in life. With a collaborative, inclusive approach, the team works tirelessly to ensure that the program achieves its vision of creating a world where every child has an equal opportunity for success.

Our Service Area
Our Great Start Collaborative area reaches the community from Gogebic and Ontonagon County Michigan. Our two county region has approximately 5,000 children ages birth to eight years old. The rural geography of our catchment area creates unique challenges for families with young children including; generational poverty, lack of transportation, affordable housing, accessible high-quality childcare, isolation, and proximity to services.
